1956 MGA Great Restoration Project
Description
I think this is a 1956 model MGA Not sure of the year. Fresh out of the shed after setting for 40 years and the tires still hold air. I bought this car in 1975 and put it in the shed thinking it would be a great restoration project for when I retired. The car kept it's looks and condition perfectly, I was not so lucky. I'm now retired but in no condition to restore anything. I have a lot of parts that I stored away and haven't got them out of the shed yet but I know I have the transmission, driveshaft, seat frames, the headlight buckets, heater box and lots of other parts, just can't remember for sure what all there is. I know I'm missing the grill, and windshield frame. The only rust there is is a place on the left side next to the trunk lid, I tried to show that in the pictures, this was caused by a mouse nest built in that area. Shipping is up to the buyer, I can help load on your trailer. I can store it for a reasonable amount of time provided it's paid for as this add states. Car # HDA43/ 14357 Engine # BP15GB/ 4481. Check the numbers to verify the year.
I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE ebay didn't give me that option so I chose rebuildable, again NO TITLE
The body number on the cowl by the right hood hing is 24271. I've come across many more parts in the storage building, radiator, carburator, headlight buckets, taillight housings, bumpers with the brackets attached, and more. I'll post some pictures tonight
