1980 MGB CONVERTIBLE with 67 Exterior

This MGB was custom rebuilt by New England Cars in Connecticut for me approximately 5 years ago. I was looking for a 67 and they had this 1980 and suggested that we make it look like a 67 and keep all the upgrades a 1980 had. And so Georgie was born. Rubber bumpers were taken off and chrome bumpers installed. All the side markers and reverse lights were taken off and metal welded in its place. The rear orange yellow and red lights were changed to be all red like the 67. The height was lowered to 67 specs. The exterior looks exactly like a 67 and painted to a dark British green. The interior is brand new (seats, leather, door panels, carpeting, etc). The engine redone with updated Weber carb and horsepower killing smog system removed completely. Two batteries converted to one with a kill switch to save the battery during those winter months. This car is beautiful and fun to drive. This is the perfect weather for it too. But alas, with an infant, I don’t get to enjoy it with my wife anymore. So I want it to go to someone who will enjoy it. Cost me 21000 to buy. You can get it for much much less with this auction.
