1974 MG convertible

Description

1974 MGB convertible, last year of the chrome bumper.It has been sitting for a little over three years. It was driving beforehand. This was my Dad's car and was gifted to me but I do not have time to work on it. This is not running and will need work.Here is what I know:
Pluses:The engine is NOTseized. Engine turns by hand. Engine en general look good. Engine compartment could use some cleaningCarburetor looks good.Very light rust on and under the car
Minuses:About a quart tank of gas was left in the tank while it was sitting. It does smell like varnish (currently dropping the tank to remove gas but I'm not sure I will get to it)It was in a car tent while it was sitting but got pretty dirtyRagtop is usable but not in the best condition. Slight tears and a small 1.5" rip on the passenger sideBrakes will need a jobScratches on the back passenger side quarter panel (see images)Will need standard maintenance
This is a great project car for a DIY or hobbyist.The vehicle has a Michigan title.
