1959 MG Magnette-, Hidden away for years in a California garage
Description
This beautiful car has been in northern California for 3 decades at least. When I found it, the car was covered and buried in a dark garage. The owners were moving and quite dismayed to finally let it change hands. The fuel was drained before storage, however the previous caretakers stated it should be cleaned out before proceeding. I would like to have this model as my own but now is not the time. The car was purported to have run well 2 years prior. The owner said he had run a jumper wire straight to the starter. The body has corrosion and will need an expert to grind off the rust and seal it before primer and paint. The prep and painting of the Magnette will be the largest chore. If you are cool with it rough around the edges, by all means fix as you go. The seats have had large swaths of leather type fabric added to them like a giant band-aid. You will also need to re-cover the seats before going all the way with a restoration. Again if you want a beach buggy to pile the hounds into, look no further. This is a rare and unusual car you don't see quite often. Feel free to ask any questions and I am 20 minutes away from a reputable international shipper. The Title is here and we are ready to make a deal. Thanks!
