No car delivers more smiles per mile The car came from the family of famous pikes peak auto racer Jeff Zwart, it was his father Bob’s personal car and I believe they worked on it together. I still have a lot of the documentation such as paint codes and info on the receipt for the past engine build by Mike Goodman in 2003. There was over $8000 on the receipt in 2003 money so it is built nicely and quite powerful. This is one of the better driving TC’s out there, it will be a very nice addition to someone’s collection. This was what I knew about the car when I listed it several years back. • Past owner Bob Zwart had the car from 1981 to 2009 (Bought from California) • Previously owned by an airline pilot who imported it from England • This was the last MG rebuilt and restored by Mike Goodman (was in Van Nuys) before closing his shop around 2003 ish • Engine sized out to 1500cc with steel liners, modified cam, Carrello rods and pistons, with a new Phoenix crankshaft, 1 1/2? S. U.
