Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice MGB Roadster in the arguably the best colors. This car was recently purchased from the state of Indiana where it just wasn't seeing enough summertime use on a yearly basis. It's presented here in it's lovely approachable and honest condition, ready for immediate fun. The bodywork on this car is very good with nice gapping and opening/closing panels. Upon close inspection, paintwork is a modest older repaint in the car's original color and looks completely fine for a nice driver. Brightwork is very good to excellent all the way around. The car still retains it's original Triplex windshield in good shape surrounded by a lovely anodized aluminum frame. The car's interior trim is very nice. Seats amazingly look like the originals in their factory heat-seamed vinyl and are really excellent overall. Carpets are nice along with a decent panel kit. Anice modern radio set up is installed with a speaker set fitted in the doors. The center console, armrest, and dashboard look great with a dashcap installed. All of the instruments are operating properly. The black softop is in good condition but shows a few repairable tears. Depending on how much use it will get, you could get by with it or it can be simply renewed. The car still retains it's original black soft top boot and tonneau cover in very good condition. Mechanically, the car is excellent. There's plenty of evidence of recent work including a new oil cooler with lines, rebuilt cylinder head, new hoses and ignition tune up, new front tires, recent lube and filter. The car starts easily on the key, revs well, idles great, has great oil pressure/no smoke and drives robustly down the road with a strong engine, clutch and very good gearbox. PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO. It can be confidently navigated around turns and is lots of fun, making all of the right exhaust sounds. The engine bay is clean and tidy. The car's undercarriage is a gem and is completely solid and rustfree. The trunk houses the spare tire and tie down, tonneau stirrups, original jack in bag. The rear tire set look good, all fitted with the polished stainless steel beauty rim set. Overall, a really honest and cosmetically nice MGB Roadster in great colors with good all around mechanicals. This car ticks all of the "fun" boxes and is a very sensible buy going forward.
