1952 Mg TD

Description

Found in a garage stored long term (actually boarded up and unknown). Engine in pieces. I had a shop which had experience with xpag do the engine, but when they sold their building and disbanded and told me the pistons stuck out of the block about and eighth of an inch and the gasket making guy on the internet left me hanging, I lost interest. That was at least a dozen years ago. I read good things about Gasket Works Products and how they can make a gasket (spacer) of nearly any thickness, but I am too old to get revved up about this thing again. I tore my shed down that this was in and it has to go. It looks pretty ragged, but actually the body is not bad at all. Interior is bad. Engine will be great with a little finishing. I have all (or nearly all) the parts and a new 3/4 race cam to put in. You can see it has the special rear seal assembly which is supposed to prevent leakage. The engine is original (numbers matched).
