Description

This is the Classic and rare MGTD. Its long been considered one of the best Post War MG's. This example is a very original spec Fully Restored 40,000 mile car that has been pampered and never abused. It has had one owner since 1976! During the late 1990's it was fully restored, and remains in excellent condition. If you are looking for an excellent post war MG T series cars in great condition, This is an almost unrepeatable opportunity. The MGTD was the car that started the British Roadster boom in the early post war years. Most were ordered by customers intent on weekend racing and many of these cars led a tough life. This car was only used sparingly in its early life, and never abused. It's finished in classic British Racing Green with black leather interior. Cosmetically, it is still in very good condition with only light wear from use. The leather seats were done professionally as well as the rest of the interior and one of the best parts of the car in my opinion. Recently it has benifited from a mechanical referbishment by a local British car specialist that included a full brake rebuild, Carbs rebuilt, fuel system flush and more. Cars like this rarely come up for sale, and make sure you realize, this is a serious sale. This car will be sold. I reserve the right to end the auction early and sell locally or for a serious offer. You can call me at 405-420-6996. Terms: Must be paid for within 7 days. Sold as is where is with no guarantees (after all this is a 60 year old car) Buyer to pay shipping, although i have a contact who offers very reasonable shipping, such as $650 to Los Angeles.
