I imported the car January of this year when it was 25 years old as an antique.
I purchased the car from a private collector in Canada who owned it for over a decade and drove it less that 1,000 miles. It was simply a show car. It has been stored indoors for most of it's life and is in remarkably good condition. It has 63,151 original miles on it. It starts immediately without any "pumping" or help. This is legally the newest Classic Mini you can own in America. It would be perfect as a weekend driver, or in a museum. I have photos of the bare floor from when I had the seats and carpet out a few weeks ago to show how solid and rust free they are. I can find them if anyone is interested. I am available any time to answer questions or show the car and take anyone for a ride that is interested.
The bad: There is thebeginning of some paint bubbles aroundthe fuel filler neck. Radio has not worked since I owned it. There is an inch long seam split on the rear bottom of the driver seat. Only interior flaw. There hare some scratches on the lip of a couple wheels, nothing on faces. Has a single, lightwindshield wiper scratch on veryouter edge.
This is one of the rarest Minis in America. No reserve.
Car is sold as/ is where is. I have a clean and clear TN title in my name as well as copies of the importation documents where I imported into the USA.Anyone that is interested is more than welcome to come and look the car over in person. I will help however I can with shipping.
