What started life as a stock 68' Mk2 Morris mini ended up as what you see now a 180hpturbocharged tarmac shredder...
Built in Germany in the year 2000 this turbo powered mini went through a full restoration and the resultis what you see here today, probably the coolest MINI we have ever seen.Paint is show quality in fantastic condition. Very fun to drive makes ALL the amazing sounds you canthink of from the blow off valve to the gearbox with straight cut gears to the lovely exhaust sound.The Mod list is extensive and listed but not limited to the below
ENGINE
-1275 CC MG Metro turbo honed and bored to 1293 CC, cross drilled/wedged crankshaft lightened balanced and shot peened connecting rods ARP bolts.-High Velocity Cam drive, MG Metro turbo reworked head, Metro garrett turbo, high pressure wastegatemodified induction chamber, Mercedes AMG intercooler, electric fan, Silicone hoses, 12 row oil cooler.-Metro turbo exhaust manifold, maniflow mid section with silencer, HIF6 - 1.75inch SU carb
TRANSMISSION- German constructed 4 Speed helical box, all- Synchro- straight cut drop gears, titanium gearset.- Metro turbo clutch cover, metro turbo fast road clutch plate, lightened steel flywheel.- 3.44:1 final drive ratio, Minishop cross-pin differential.
BRAKES- Front Metro turbo vented discs, KAD 4 pot calipers, stainless steel braided brake lines.- Rear red painted alloy drums standard shoes.
SUSPENSION-Adjustable ride height, Adjustable Spax dampers, Lacquered and waxolyed rubber mounted subframes,- Front has negative camber bottom arms, adjustable tie rods, heavy duty bushings,- Rear has standard radius arms, Adustable camber and caster brackets
EXTERIOR- BMW Z3 Style bonnet bulge on full metal bonnet, Cooper S grille and surround- 60's lucas driving lamps, Minispeed Germany MSP3 Wheel arches.
INTERIOR-Cobra Imola front seats, adjustable seat frames, chrome plated seat adjusters, Schroth electronic 4pt harnesses.-Jaguar black carpets, Black dash, innocenti speedo, tacho, oil pressure, oil temp and water gauges.-Turbo boost gauge, Starter button, 280mm raid dino leather steering wheel, full cage, polished fire extinguisher.
