Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4

Description

Up for sale is my wonderful Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. I have owned this vehicle for roughly three years and have only ever drove it enough miles for it to be considered a part time vehicle. With that said it has 157K miles on the car itself but only around 5k on the new transmission I had put in about two years ago. Car has had seasonal fluid changes since I’ve owned it and has always been driven with respect. There are no known mechanical issues with the car and she runs strong as ever. A few longevity changes have been made, such as, a larger radiator, billet aluminum intake y pipe (That replaced the original plastic one), post recall transfer case and mounting bracket, two-piece aluminum and steel hybrid drive shaft (to alleviate drive line clunkyness), EGR recycling system deletion (Car is emission except due to age and therefore no longer needs the carbon deposits dumped into the engine). There are little exterior and interior cosmetic wear from age but nothing crazy, no body rust, no upholstery tears, not underbody rust or damage. Tires are about a year old and due to it being barely driven part time still have loads of life on them and plenty of tread. I had a pioneer stereo system installed with all new speakers. It has a temporarily installed sub on top of one of the folded down rear seats but that doesn’t have to go with the car if you don’t want it.A little factual information about the car if you don’t know much about them.The VR4 mode was the top trim for these cars consisting of power or assisted everything, a great sound system from the factory and loads of performance. These cars have a twin turbo, 3.0L 6 cylinder, 325 horsepower engine for a power train linked to a 5 speed transmission mated to an all-wheel drive system. Limited slip front and rear. Electrically controlled front and rear suspension where they can either be softened or stiffened with the push of a button.
I’m selling the car to move onto new things. I’m going into grad school in the fall and will no longer have time to enjoy the car or give it the love it deserves. She’s old but will always be reliable as long as you take care of her and keep up with maintenance.
