New Engine with ARP head studs
Description
I was involved in SCCA World Challenge racing. My good friend and former team mate from back in the day, crew chief for the Archer Brothers, Morrison, many different teams and several road racing series and a complete DSM guy. I, being a GM guy (on a racing professional level), naturally I scoffed and gave him a hard time for driving a Mitsubishi. I was on a Corvette team racing on track with the Mitzi-Talons. There were 3 classes, GT 1 and 2 and touring. AB and C divisions, Talons/DSM where B class and when it would rain they would generally win, we called them the killers Bs. About 5 years ago my buddy calls me up and wants me to bring my trailer and pick up areally CLEAN and RUST FREE car with the engine out and on a stand. We loaded it up and took it home. Machine work completed and motor assembled with ALL NEW internal engine parts from Keffer Mitsubishi in Huntersville NC.
The very first WEEK that it was on the road, after getting it together, somebody on a cell phone pulled right out in front of him. It pushed the hood down and tweaked the RF of the radiator core support. The car was drivable but the electric fan had to be unplugged because it would come on and make noise. It slightly twisted the brand new Mishimoto radiator.
I have had this car since the accident in 2014- car started up and driven up and down the road to keep everything lubricated. Changed the oil a few times as well.I got around to repairing it back in January of this year-video diary on You Tube. (Channel: Gregory Anderson Motorsports)

***UPDATE 9/17/2019***Since I have been driving it the AC stopped working. It looks like the expansion valve has stopped working. I am going to replace the valve and the AC will be in proper working order.
This car is one of the nicest ones around, I don't care what autocheck says.
I should have the car back on the road by Thursday or Friday depending when the parts for the AC show up.
It is available for inspection anytime until then just no AC.
If a customer had brought this car to me and wanted the engine done and the paint work it would easily be north of $10,000.
I will be happy to talk about this car with you,Greg 704-254-9170
