Description

You are bidding on an original1951 Nash Rambler Airflyte Convertible with 44,417 original miles. We have owned the car for the last 8 years. The drive train is original and runs very smooth. We had a custom interior done in the last year. The car has 5 new correct sized white wall tires. Comes with a new, original style wire harness for the entire car (not installed), new rocker panels (1 NOS, 1 aftermarket), all sales books and manuals for the car, and other replacement parts. The convertible top mechanism works with some help and the plastic strap needs repair. The car has been garaged for many years andwe believe the master cylinder needs a rebuild (hard pedal). The car will start and runs great; however, after about 15 minutes the car shuts off. We do notknow what the issue is. Thedry cell battery is two years old; however, it cranks very slow. The car will drive for that short period. The radiator was recored. Ithas the optional oil filter. The wipers and AM radio work. The windshield is very nice except for some water stains. The car needs exterior work to fix some very minor dents and paint. You install the new wiring harness and some minor mechanical repairs and itcould be a daily driver. This is a very rare and desirable convertible. The caris being sold as is. Ithas a clear title. Buyer responsible for pick-up and transportation cost. We will accept paypal, wire transfer, or certified check. Car will not be released until funds clear. Ask questions.
