1961 Nash Metropolitan Coupe The Series IV was the last of the Metropolitans and had a few improvements over its earlier versions such as the external trunk deck lid, wind wings and a upgraded 1500cc engine.
The car starts; runs and drives well. Lights, blinkers,Horn, map light under dash, rear license plate light all in working condition. The shifting is good and it brakes good with newer brake lines and hoses. All fluids are new and ready to go. Also complete new wiring harness was installed.
The body is in overall good shape with some scratches and a dent on the side see pics . It has been repainted quite some time ago and still really has a nice shine. The chrome is original along with the glass and I suspect even the rubber and is still in good condition. The interior is very clean, seats are in good condition no rips and has up graded retractable seat belts-
(Nice option) also has a very nice leather steering wheel wrap, Newer carpet and new floor mats. Original jack and iron still in the trunk. As you can see a lot of pride in keeping this little Met looking so sharp- lots of chrome including 5 beauty rings with new tires, Two original side mirrors, tail pipe and the flying lady hood ornament makes this little Met a real crowd pleaser.
