1960 Nash - AMC - Metropolitan with 19,000 original miles

1960 Metropolitan coupe. Original car with 19,000 miles. This very nice original car was bought new by Eli Lilly (of the pharmaceutical trade) for his wife and daughter. It has some sanding marks on the red paint as the red was touched up when new by the dealer. (See delivery of new car form) This car was never wrecked or had any body work done on it. There has never been any rust. When I bought this car it was sitting for years. I have replaced all wheel seal, all brake components and also all clutch hydraulics. I also bought the oil filter conversion, all radiator hoses, rubber door seals,and all tune up parts. (They are not installed). The original seat has a couple of small punctures in it. Looks like a small screwdriver in someone’s pocket. Everything else looks great even the original rubber floor mat. There is some small stains by the rear headliner. Two things it will need are the exhaust is starting to make some noise and the radio doesn’t work. I love this little car and enjoy driving it. I’m not a small guy and it has lots of room inside. Only selling this to cut back on my collection. REMEMBER THEY ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE AND THIS ONE HAS HISTORY. Please call me with any questions or come out to see and drive it.
