1940 Nash Lafayette Street rod
Description
What you see is my 1940 Nash Lafayette. So let me tell you what I know about it. I purchased two cars off the same old gentleman last year. The first was a 1957 Ford 4 door custom.I picked the fellow that purchased it up at the airport in Charlotte North Carolina. And he drove it back to Alaska. So I figured that old fella had cars in this good of shape I would purchase the other one. This one started Life as a 1940 Nash Lafayette. What I have been told (on things I can't see) has a Camaro 350 engin, Camaro front subframe with disc brake, turbo 350 transmission and 10 bolt limited-slip rear end. And also has a Holley 600 CFM carburetor headers an Edelbrock aluminum intake . The interior is in better shape in person than it appears in the pictures. No tear, cracking or stains I believe the restoration was done around 199, the side glasses that are etched the artist put his name and 1991 on them. It has VOD gauges nestled in a custom dash. It has a walker style radiator I and a lokar style shifter. It has resonator style exhaust with long tube headers. The paint is not perfect it's a strong 6.8 out of 10 . It had a couple blemishes here and there so I had a friend of mine that owns a body shop take the bumpers off and fix the blemishes in the paint. It's still very nice looking car. This car can be a daily driver. I would not be afraid to drive itanywhere . I would say I've put close to two thousand miles on it since I got it back in the summer. I've taken video and put on Youtube https://youtu.be/0KfUfCZYc1sSorry but you'll have to copy and paste I'm not very computer savvy. Sorry if I sound dumb in the video. I don't know if AC works or not . I had my second hip replacement at the beginning of Summer I didn't drive a lot when it was hot at the end of summer. I will be glad to help arrange shippin, I can take more vide, I have no problem having a third party inspectio, I will be glad to pick you up at Charlotte Douglas international Airport . So you can drive it back home. The car is tagged and insured in my name . If you decide to have it shipped instead of coming and getting it. I will express mail the title the day The Funds clear. Please feel free to contact me. My name is David my phone number is 828-448-5223 . Please feel free to contact me.
