1929 Nash Special 6 with a Rat Rod appearence.It was purchased May 2002 from Ole Bills Museum in Liberty Mo. Ole Bills Museum housed the life long car collection of Don Barnes (TWA Pilot). The auction lasted 3 days. This Roaring 20's Era car now has a 2000's era drive train.The front frame was removed & replaced with an 2000 S10 stub to enhance driveability. It now has Power Steering, Hydra Boost brakes,front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, Aluminum Speedway radiator, GM 350 engine, GM 350 automatic transmission,GM 3.42 ratioposidifferental,Lokas shifter & Haywire wiring harness. The rotten wood slat & upholstery top has been replaced with steel (no leaks). The original seats frames were kept & rebuilt. The car now has fantastic upholstery with faux wood grain accents on the dash & window trim. New Omega gauges & speedometer that look vintage. Updated steering column with self cancelling turn signals. The excellent driveabillity of this 1929 Nash makes it great for a daily driver, cross country trips,grocery getter or car cruise & show.
