Michael’s Motor Cars is pleased to offer on e-bay this unique 1984 Datsun/Nissan 300ZX. This survivor car is in original metallic sky blue with complimentary two-tone blue cloth (velour) interior with documented very low mileage of 46,973. This car wears both Datsun and Nissan manufacturer’s badges as it was manufactured during Nissan’s name changeover from Datsun. What is unique about this particular car is its originality, ownership history and overall condition. The car was owned by “Uncle Joe”, a WWII veteran who purchased the car new in Maryland. Uncle Joe’s gentle ownership and babying of the car is clearly apparent in the car’s current condition. After buying the car Uncle Joe immediately purchased a steering wheel cover and seat and dash covers all of which are pictured in our ad. These simple covers really helped to preserve the interior of the car. This 300ZX has been garage kept and carefully maintained all of its life! When Uncle Joe passed away the car was transitioned to his nephew who continued to drive it gently and take it to local car shows. We recently purchased the car from the nephew who is currently in his 80’s. We are getting complete service records from the family. This 300ZX is completely original. It has a 5-speed manual transmission and is fully optioned from the factory with A/C, AM/FM/Cassette stereo, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, two-tone cloth seats, and factory alloy “Z” wheels. We have original Nissan owner’s manual and two car show award plaques. (1st and 2nd prize!) Everything on the car works correctly, including all the gauges. Overall condition is highly original and excellent. Paint is glossy with no significant scratches or chips, no dents. Lenses are in like new condition, all trim and moldings are excellent. The original alloy “Z” wheels are in excellent condition and have matched tires with high tread. Original stickers are all present including engine compartment stickers. The engine is completely original with only change being the is K&N air filter. We do have the original air box. This car drives like it did when it came from the showroom! Engine is strong, quiet and does not smoke. The transmission shifts correctly with no issues. Brakes, suspension, exhaust are all in excellent condition. The engine compartment is very neat and tidy, inner fenders are all in original paint. There is no rust on any of the rocker areas, inner hood, or inner fenders and rear wheel arches. The hatchback/trunk area has the original blue carpeting, and the inner fender wells and spare tire well are all original with no rust or corrosion. Hatchback lid has no rust including the rear lip area. The Interior of this car is also completely original and in very high condition. Seats, door panels and carpeting show no wear or tears. The dash top has no cracks. The underside of this car also shows no rust. We recently serviced the car including oil change and safely inspection. It comes with two keys, and the original tool kit (that has never been used!) and has a clear PA title. This car can be driven anywhere with confidence and is ready for the car-show season.
