Description

For sale, new engine & turbos, clean title, no funny business.Selling because I moved to D.C. and can’t care for the 300zx like I should.
Overview:I bought the 1993 Nissan 300zx TT two-seater since 2010 with 145,246 miles and currently has an odometer of 154,658. I originally decided to have the engine rebuilt because of faulty OEM/stock turbos and need for reliability. During rebuild I received military orders to move to Italy for three years. The 300zx was returned from engine rebuild at 154,260 miles by Cruzin’ Auto Services (Z specialist) in March 2015. I left for Italy (military move) in April 2015. Immediately after receiving vehicle from engine rebuild, the car had to be trailered to my father’s house in MD. It was stored in a wooded shed until I came back this last December. Due to my military life, the car sat in Cruzin Auto’s shop for a long time, and due to rushed move, still does have extremely low miles on the engine rebuild because I just returned from Italy. Only recently I had time to addressed the last mechanical issue (bad wheel bearing) and had put it on eBay (no-one met the reserve of $5,500). So here you go, an absolute steal, but I’ll be happy if it goes to a Z enthusiast or creates a new one.
Engine Rebuild:Rebuild completed by the owner (Erick) of Cruzin Auto Services, an Automotive Repair Shop in Fayetteville, North Carolina who specializes on Z cars (search Cruzin Autos Services on Facebook or Instagram) for shop details. Cruzin Auto has extensive experience and knowledge of the VG30DETT and all Nissan Z cars and also heads the Fayetteville, NC Z Club.
Erick sent the engine block to machine shop for block decking & cylinder honing for over-sized Wiseco forged pistons; I do not know how many times the cylinders were honed or what spec the rings are set for. Brand new T28 turbos were installed, bought new from eBay. The engine rebuild process used mostly OEM parts with exception of pistons, rings, turbos, the gasket kit, and other parts that Erick needed to purchase for necessary modifications. I remember Erick mentioning modifications to the block including freeze plugs and ERG welds. I was told the engine could comfortably handle 600 hp if configured with correct fuel, air, chip, & tune. The car DOESN’T have these upgrades and DOES have stock fuel rail, injectors, air filter, chip, exhaust, and no professional tune. The engine is basically stock except for major part upgrades such as turbos and pistons. Engine currently still in break-in period; oil is currently NOT synthetic for break in period and still on first oil change. I have all pictures from rebuild process. I have a bunch of receipts for parts/labor since earlier than 2010. Overall, the engine was not rebuilt for an increase of HP, but more so for reliability.
Engine Work & Parts:-T28 disco potato hybrid turbos bought brand new from eBay-machine-shop: honed cylinder walls & decked the block-88mm Wiseco Forged pistons installed, new from Z1 Motorsports-Greddy Profech 2 EBC from Z1 Motorsports (installed by Cruzin’ Auto)-Greddy boost is set low until break-in period of 1000 miles is complete (has a "Boost Low" & "Boost Hi" setting)-Greddy boost controller is setup to shut engine off at user defined boost limit-new engine gasket kit from Z1 Motorsports-Unorthodox AMS Underdrive Pulley Set from Z1 Motorsports-OEM 370cc injectors new from Fiveomotorsport.com-new style injector adapter kit-ERG engine deletes completed-new NGK spark plugs-cams and lifters are still OEM-as of 22 January, the ECU flashes 55 – no malfunction-underdrive pully belt screaks for about 4-8 seconds on cold start-up-the engine idles very quiet (besides the new 370cc injectors firing) and runs extremely smooth-under acceleration, there is a bit of turbo lag due to larger turbos and overall stock setup-aftermarket exhaust center pipes, with OEM mufflers at rear; it has a nice little rumble-the turbos provide a very satisfying experience-automatic transmission has zero issues, transmission fluid changed during rebuild.
Exterior/Interior:-JDM 5ZiGEN MAG '17x9 Rear wheels with brand-new tires-JDM 5ZiGEN MAG '17x8 Front wheels with good tires-front & rear Hub Centric wheel spacers & extended studs (10mm)-OEM suspension replaced-drilled/slotted brake rotors all around, new from eBay-Z1 rear tail lights & center piece, new from Z1 Motorsports-NO RUST on vehicle with exception of rust spot under OEM rear wing-all exterior and interior lights work-no malfunction lights on dash cluster with exception with “red parking brake light” that comes on each time the brake petal is applied (incorrect wiring of new rear z1 center piece light)-brake rotors & pads replaced after rebuild and have less than 150 miles on them now-calibers were re-greased (front & rear)-has original emergency kit/spare tire (great condition!)-has a complete & original well-kept black leather & suede interior-all power seats, windows, & door locks work-T-tops do not leak and seals are in great condition-HICAS system has not been removed and still works.-new rear hatch lift struts-hatchback has functioning leather cover that rolls out and attaches to lid

Flaws:-after driving yesterday, it is noted the front alignment needs minor adjustment-one of the previous owners had a non-professional (but still looks good) paint-job-aftermarket speakers wired incorrectly (head-unit operates)-one minor/small dent on body – front right-side fender-missing one windshield spay jet located on front hood-horn does not work-windshield has a roughly 10-inche long crack on passenger-side-the one rust spot on the car is under the rear OEM wing by the center tail light-not registered since vehicle was in storage before engine rebuild (2015) due to military move
The car does not have cheap parts installed and has had a lot of love during my ownership. Looking for a new owner to continue this trend. If you come to test drive, keep in mind that the car isn't registered and doesn’t have insurance so please do not drive like a maniac. Plus, Erick (Cruzin Auto owner) warned me not to rev engine over 6000rpm until after 1000 miles.
If interested and have questions, please email/reply to post for my phone number. Thanks.
***The title is clean, no funny business***I am not interested in trading for other vehicles as the main reason for selling the 300zx is due to lack of space in DC.***Will not have extended email conversations, just call me for questions***No low ballers***Cash or PayPal transactions only***Buyer to arrange/pay for shipping if not a local pickup
