1990 Nissan 300zx see pictures
Description
This beautiful car was purchased brand new by my mother in 1990. As far as I know, she bought top of the line features with this non turbo version. It is very clean and has the original red paint and leather interior. I've tried to show everything in the pictures. There are some small surface scratches and nics in the paint if you zoom in on some of the photos. However, I believe it looks very impressive for the year of the car. She took very good care of it and had all scheduled maintenance performed by the local Nissan service center until 2014. She sold it to me 3 1/2 years ago because she bought a new car and seldom needed to drive it anymore. I have taken very good care of it since. It runs well and is a very clean car. This car has had only 2 owners (my mother and me) and has been garage kept since 1990 when it was purchased new. I have been having it serviced by my local mechanic that I trust with full synthetic oil since I acquired it. I have been using it mainly to get to and from work. I need something that handles in the snow better. I also prefer a sedan over a coupe for when I need to take my kids somewhere.
Since I acquired the car from my mother in 2014, there has always been a little drippage of oil on my garage floor. Whenever I have asked my mechanic at oil changes, he has said it's minimal and hasn't recommended anything to be done for it. Besides regular oil change/servicing and tire rotations, I had the fuel injector line replaced for cylinder #2 in August of 2017 by my local mechanic. Mechanic said the rest were firing fine. It had been having a gas smell when driving and after pulling in the garage. I had some fuel hose lines replaced as well by my mechanic and that has taken care of the fumes odor. He did say that there are a lot of hoses in this car and though they all work well now any of the original ones could require replacement in the future. Somebody messaged me and notified me that it would have been better to have proctively replaced all 6 fuel injectors at the same time because the other 5 are likely to go bad since they are the same age. That makes sense and I get it. I just want to be compensated for what this car is worth, nothing more....nothing less.
This car has a t-top and is fun to drive with the top pieces off. The mechanic recently said that it could use some new struts and possibly time for another timing belt replacement. The passenger side power window comes down fine but not up with the passenger control. It goes up fine with the driver side control for it. My Big 0 tire service man said I should probably get new tires within a year. The heater and air conditioner work with the digital temperature control. The low fan knob was broken off years ago when my mother was having the car detailed. However, you can still turn the heat and A/C up and down with the digital control instead of the high and low fan knobs. I did put a new stereo in it 3 1/2 years ago and it works great.
I would be happy to talk to you and answer any questions you might have. Please message me through ebay and leave me your cell phone number and I'll call you. I am in Boise, Idaho with Mountain Daylight Time. I've tried to provide a detailed list about the car but have to admit I don't know a lot of the mechanical lingo that many car enthusiasts know. No warranty and no return.
To purchase the car, I am requiring at least a $200 immediate deposit on Paypal. The remaining balance will be wired to my bank account. You can contact me and I'll give you the routing #. Once my account is fully funded, I'll release the car to your shipper. You pay for the shipping. I don't want you to pay me extra for the shipping and ask me to refund you the excess by check. This is a super neat car and it will be greatly missed!
