Up for auction is my 1993 Nissan 240SX. This is a full up police vehicle used by the Willingboro, NJ police department (has lights, horn, siren, etc) to promote their DARE program (if you Google "Willingboro, NJ DARE vehicle" you will see this very vehicle at an event). It was seized from a drug dealer(see pic 4). Considering this is a 25 year old vehicle I consider it to be in excellent condition and I think was chosen to be the township's DARE vehicle because of its condition. These vehicles can have rust issues but this one is about as rust free as it gets(see the last picture which shows a portion of the under carriage...I have additional pics; if you desire to see them let me know). The drive train is also clean with no visible oil leaks. The vehicle has been completely gone thru and has had the following work done: engine head was professionally machined and the valves ground and new valve seals installed along with new head gasket. The fuel system has also been completely gone thru to include new fuel pump, fuel filter and all fuel injectors replaced. Air filter, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, wires, thermostat, windshield wipers all replaced. Fresh anti freeze and oil change. The wheels are 17" Motegi Racing with Goodyear Eagle HPs...wheels are nearly perfect and tires are essentially new(but have been on the vehicle for some time but show no signs of age). The interior is in near excellent condition with a small section of wear on drivers door panel(see pic 10)...passenger side is perfect. Back seat is also perfect...looks like no one ever sat there(back of seat is covered with DARE throw)...headliner same condition. Dash is excellent....NO cracks at all. Sound system is Pioneer with CD and remote control with an amp in the back along with huge speaker system (system was professionally installed...see pic 11...DARE shirt stays w/vehicle as does stuffed DARE Lion). Front seats are 3AR Racing seats in good condition. Vehicle was professionally painted and DARE Lion on hood and flames were professionally painted and are excellent. The script lettering..ie POLICE, WILLINGBORO, etc are black tape and could be removed quite easily. There is painted shading adjacent to words POLICE and WILLINGBORO on front and back fenders. I think only the words POLICE would have to be removed...the word POLICE is also on the top portion of the windshield and can also be removed easily. I have not touched any of that as I wanted to keep it original to its DARE heritage and will leave any changes up to the winning bidder(who would want to check w/local police). I think this would be a great vehicle to take to car shows or possibly school/boy scout events as it is ONE OF A KIND. The vehicle is 25 yrs old and qualifies for historical plates in most states. If purchased in NJ, inspection is no longer required on vehicles 1995 or older. This is also the first year that Nissan used R-134 in the a/c system so no requirement for R-12.....and blows cold.
