Description
Imported from Japan legally, with all paid duties, taxes and fees. Japan Export Certificat, DOT and EPA inspections and all paperwork done and ready to title in your State ( except for California who require an addition tax grab of $ 5000 for emissions certification ) .
I have a clear Florida title for the car in my name. The actual VIN is FK10-011270 , however since it does not have enough digits for the eBay system at their instructions, 17 zeros have been entered. We had this car stripped down to bare metal but it was rust free to start with, and it was repainted in it's original Topaz Mist base coat and clear coat and white roof colors. No rust, no body damage, just a great looking car with nice chrome and stainless and glass.
The convertible top and headliner were replaced and the interior and trim was restored including the leather seats, panels, dash, seatbelts, carpet, trim etc..
The car was gone over top to bottom mechanically and anything needing attention was done including, but not limited to : rebuilt engine, new timing belt and water pump, transmission service, cooling system service, tune up, battery, wipers, fluid flushes, new brakes, 4 x new tires, 4 x new struts.
Everything on the car works which includes the cold a/c, auto transmission, power windows, power antenna, power steering, power brakes. The car does not leak, drip, smoke or make any unusual noises. As with every Japanese JDM car, the CD player works great but the stereo does not pick up US/ Canadian station frequencies.
All you need to do is put in gas and take it for a drive. If you are interested make an offer. I have no use for the car, so you may be surprised at what you can buy the car for.
Nothing wanted in trade. We have more cars than a human should own ( plus we own two Figaro's already ). Car is in Naples Florida if you want to see it and drive it.
For a brief history of these rare and cute little cars, read this :
The Nissan Figaro was first introduced to the world in 1989 at the Tokyo Motor Show. Presented with the slogan, "Back to the Future," this Nissan coupe was designed to transport drivers back to a simpler time with its retro design elements.
The 1991 Nissan Figaro is available in four colors, each one representing one of the four seasons: Lapis Grey for Winter, Emerald Green for Spring, Pale Aqua for Summer and Topaz Mist for Autumn. Produced for 1 year only with a limited 20,000 model run. With the current scrapage rate in the UK and Japan of approx. 700 per year according to the Figaro Club, there are fewer cars left to enjoy with each passing year.
Although extremely retro on the outside, the Nissan Figaro is very modern on the inside. That's because the Figaro comes standard with leather seats, power windows, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning to provide for a comfortable journey. It also comes standard with a CD player to help you enjoy your favorite music on the go. And if you want to enjoy an open-air drive, simply manually retract your fabric soft-top roof and let the fresh air in!
Under its hood, you'll be happy a strong 987cc MA10ET I4 Turbo engine . This engine produces 76 horsepower and 78 pound-feet of torque, while still returning up to 32 mpg. Plus, the Nissan Figaro comes standard with a 3-speed automatic transmission and can reach up to a top speed of 106 mph.
