Description

The body is pretty straight, with a few bumps and bruises. Surface rust on the bumps and bruises.

Low miles.Runs and drives well.4WD system works.

I recently rebuilt the carburetor and tested all emission components.All is in good working order and it passed emissions easily.I’ve replaced a number of other maintenance items too.I’ve re-torqued the head bolts and adjusted the engine valve lash.

This is a good candidate for a complete restoration or a just a good truck to just play with!

MAJOR MAINTENANCE

* Rebuilt Carburetor

* Valve Lash Adjustment

* Re-Torqued Head Bolts

* Engine is compression tested and results are good (test results are available).

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

* Recent Oil Change

* New Transmission Fluid

* New Transfer Case Oil

* New Engine Coolant

* New Thermostat

* New Distributor Cap and Rotor

* New Fuel Filter

* New Air Filter

* Recently detailed, inside and out.

(Previous Owner)

* New Clutch

* New catalytic converter.

NEEDS

* Radio.The radio in the truck doesn’t work and I was not able to find a radio that will fit - that I liked.The slot in the dash to install the radio is not large enough for a standard DIN size radio.It really should have a vintage size radio installed.

* Clasp for the rear sliding window.One half of this clasp is missing.

* Driver-side rear seat bottom (in the King Cab) is missing.

* Driver-side under-dash plastic garnish.

OTHER ISSUES

* There is a vibration that begins about 40 MPH.I think it might be a broken belts in the tires, or it could be that a wheel is damaged.I had the wheels/tires balanced, but the vibration remains.I fit the truck with different wheels/tires (completely worn out and old) and I noticed an improvement.This vehicle will likely need new wheels/tires.

* Air intake hose has multiple small cracks in it and has tape of it to seal it.

* Paint around the driver-side/passenger-side window frames is worn.

* Small crack on the lower passenger-side of the windshield.It does not obstruct the driver’s view.

* Crack in the plastic cover over the gauge cluster.

* Driver-side lower kick panel cover has damage.

* Passenger-side lower kick panel cover has damage.

* Driver seat has broken springs in the seat pan.

* Exhaust needs some work.Previous owner installed a custom muffler and a new section of exhaust pipe, but the welds aren’t very good and the muffler is not held on straight.

* Coolant overflow reservoir has a hole in the top.

* Steering wheel foam is worn out at the top.

* Upper ball joint rubber boots are torn.The joints are in good working order, but will either need new boots or the joints will need to be replaced.

* Driver-side carpet is worn.

* There is a red-colored stain in the carpet near the 4WD selector.
