1986 Nissan 300ZX - No reserve

Another stalled project.

I’ve owned a fair number of Z cars, and love the 86 for its unique design.

This car was bought a year or two ago with the intention of a restoration, She is gold in color, the interior is beige. She has T Tops and power everything.

The dashboard works fine. The radio also works. Not sure on the A/C

She’ll need paint, some dent repair, interior work (or bucket seat replacement). However, they are collectible, of course, and would make a great project.

Tires are fine, brakes work fine. She was a running, driving car before last winter. We tuned her up with new plugs, etc and now she is blowing white smoke. Might be a head gasket or something else unrelated. When she runs, she runs roughly.

T tops are in good shape.

Transmission shifted fine, and ran very smoothly, before the winter.

We added a brand new battery (receipt included) so that she could be started and moved. The security system in these cars are problematic and allow you to start the car sometimes and other times, not. Fussing with the driver’s side door lock seems to be the solution.
