Description

This is my 1986 Nissan 720 short bed, single cab which is all original including original paint and interior. The truck was used most of it's life by a snowbird who lived in Idaho and wintered down here in Phoenix where he kept the truck in the garage. The truck was towed behind an RV for most of it's life and I was told 80% of the miles on the truck were towed miles which is easy to believe based on the interior of the truck and if you look at the engine it appears to have all of the original style hose clamps and everything just looks unmolested and original. The carb was rebuilt a few years back and looks new still. There is virtually no wear on the pedals, original floor mat and only minor wear on the driver's side of the seat. The only evidence of tow equipment being used on the truck is the hole in the front bumper used to place a flag to assist with lining up the truck with the RV. The truck runs and drives great with no funny noises or leaks. It does not smoke and the automatic transmission shifts as it should. Mechanically this truck is very sound and drives great. I would not hesitate to take it on a long drive at any time. The original radio works as it should as do all gauges, lights, horn, windows, door locks and wipers. It is equipped with AC which currently is only blowing cool. It still is the original R19 Freon and I do have a can of the R19 and will be looking for a shop to install the Freon this week. The only other mechanical issue is the L hand turn signal only works about 50% of the time on the first try but the times it doesn't work you have to try it again and it usually will work on the second try. Hasn't been a big deal to me so I've never checked into it. The truck had a shell on it most of it's life so the inside of the bed is in great condition with no dents, just surface scratches from normal use. The paint has it's share of scratches and nicks but it still shines good and for a thirty year old truck I would say it's in better than average condition for sure. The body has a couple minor dings and dents, with the driver's door being the worst area on the truck for dings, but no rust anywhere on the truck. The tires have about 50% tread left. The original spare and all the original tools and owner's manual are in their correct location and in great shape. The interior of the truck is in great condition with minimal wear. The headliner is pulling away from the windshield and rear window in multiple places which is common with the heat here in Arizona and has a small tear on the driver's side. No cracks in the dash and comes with a dash cover. Door panels and plastics are all in great shape in the interior and it's obvious the truck was garage kept most of it's life. No funny smells and no pet hair anywhere on the inside of this truck. In summary this is a hard to find single cab, short bed, automatic trans, AC equipped truck in unmolested and very good original condition. The actual driving mileage is low as this truck was towed most of the miles on the odometer. It runs and drives great with no known issues with the drive train at all.The Z motor runs strong and the truck will cruise on the freeway easily. The exterior has wear and tear consistent with a 30 year old truck but the interior is in above average original condition. These trucks are getting harder to find and this one is priced to sell. Look at the pictures and my feedback and bid with confidence! I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time as this truck may be for sale in other media as well and could sell at anytime. I require a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of the end of the auction with the balance due in 7 days from the close of the auction. Thanks for looking and good luck!

Sorry I made a mistake on the freon, it't the original R12 not R19. The R19 is insulation I was using at the house, so sorry for the confusion.
