Description
Up for sale is my always garage-kept 1991 Nissan 240sx Coupe with the Silvia conversion. You'll find most of the work done to it in the list below. The car runs great. The car and motor were built for racing and it's ready for drifting, drag-racing, or whatever you wanna put it through. It currently runs @ 22psi. Again, the motor has all forged components and was built for high boost. This isn't a teenager's car. This is a responsible adult driven race car and was built for that purpose. I haven't had a chance to take it to the 1/4 mile track to see what she would do, but it feels like at least a low 12s maybe even high 11s car when it gets traction (it will smoke the tires all the way to 4th gear). It would probably benefit from drag radials for the 1/4. As-is it's great for drifting or being a daily driver (if you don't mind not having A/C)--I've driven it up to 100 miles away from my house with no problems. Has about 3k on the newly built motor. Just installed a brand new battery. I rarely drive it, and it needs a good home. It's a very fun, very fast car! It does not have A/C (all the A/C components have been removed from the car), but it does have warm heat. The paint job is a Mercedes-Benz gray with a Honda black. The hood could use a repainting. The paint is by no means perfect, but it looks good with typical imperfections here and there. The idle could use some tweaking as it idles high at the moment, but I've been adjusting it from winter to summer as it changes when the temperature changes, and it does fine when adjusted like this. Sometimes (when cold) the valve train is a little noisy, but goes away after warming up. The cam lift profile probably has something to do with this...It currently has a push button start. The OEM temp gauge is wonky and doesn't work correctly. This was a project I worked on for years, and now she's looking for a new home in which she can live out the rest of her years. I don't need to sell it, but I don't drive it much, and I've been eyeballing a new project to begin. I have over $10k in the car with receipts for everything. I think it's priced very fair considering everything that's been done and the age of the car. It's now an antique. Plus, if one disassembled the entire car and sold it piece by piece, you could easily get back what you pay for it.Please send your offer if you are interested. Please feel free to ask any questions. I will send videos of the car running or specific additional pics to interested parties. Please be aware I have the right to end the sale at any time as it is for sale locally also. I will help in every way I can if you purchase and need to have it shipped via transport service. Also, it goes without saying, this is a used car and is sold as-is with no implied warranties of any kind. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges offered or implied. However, I will strive to help in any way I can, and I've sold automobiles on eBay before with all positive good feedback. I'm not a salesman or a car dealer. I'm an auto enthusiast like you, so I will do what I can to make you happy if you purchase the car. I've mentioned everything I can think about the car. Thank you for looking and have a great day! :-)Again, if you would like to have the car shipped by a transport service, I can help with that if you find the transport service and set it up. Alternatively, you may schedule to come and pick it up!Drivetrain:SR20DET w/ 5 spd transmission
