Description

Up for sale is this wonderfully kept 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham Coupe. It is finished in it's original color combination of Dark Blue Metallic over Blue Velour. It has 123,352 original miles and is a 2-owner car.

1988 was the final year for the rear wheel drive Cutlass Supreme and it was badged as a Cutlass Supreme Classic with 27,678 built. This car is an early example being #699.The Brougham option was the top offering in 1988 and it consisted of a divided front bench seat with individual controls, Velour material, wood trim, vanity mirrors, and a Brougham hood ornament.

All 1988 model year Cutlass's were equipped with the 307ci 5.0LV8. Additionally, this example is alsoequipped with power steering, power brakes with front discs, power windows, power locks, power driver's side seat, ice cold A/C, and rally wheels.

This example was originally sold new at Action Oldsmobile in Livonia, MI. I am selling this for a friend and he was the detailing department manager at Action Olds and he delivered this car new to the first owner. In 1992 when the first owner came to trade it in, my friend purchased it from him and his inspection sticker signed by him still exists on the inside of the trunk lid and he has owned and cared for it the last 25 years.

He had the car repainted in it's original Dark Blue Metallic in 1994 and it remains in very good condition to this day. He is a professional auto detailer still to this day so it has always remained in ready-to-show condition and always garaged during his ownership. The only deviations from stock are the tires being BF Goodrich T/A's, an aftermarket stereo unit, dual Flowmaster exhaust, and rear window tint.

He has always had the car religiously maintained by the dealership he works for and had all of the weather stripping replaced 3 years ago.It has aclean and flawlessCarFax andincluded in the sale is a NOS power antenna and extra left over NOS weather stripping. The car is in excellent overall condition but it is starting to show early signs of rust development under the doors. Very common for G-Body GM cars of this era but again, it's in early development and aside from that, the car is in exceptionally uncommon condition. I've attached 12 photos but refer to the photo bucket page for 50+ additional photos. http://s243.photobucket.com/user/Luc6189/library/1988%20Oldsmobile%20Cutlass%20Supreme%20Coupe

I reserve the right to end the auction early and cancel any bids at any time for any reason. Please ask any and all questions and I'm available to show the car with 24hrs advanced noticed. The reserve is very realistic and althoughIencourage interested parties to bid, I will consider realistic offers. I can also assist in setting up shipping, just need the zip code.
