Description

For sale is my original 1973 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser 6 passenger clamshell Station Wagon. This is among one of the largest passenger cars ever produced by General Motors sharing its chassis, engine and styling cues from the Olds 98. I have personally driven this vehicle long distances without issue. Massachusetts to Toronto andwith my family from Toronto to Milwaukee to attend the Oldsmobile Club of Americas National Meet where the vehicle received a first place plaque. It drives pretty much like a modern car on highway. Body is terrific shape, very straight. This extremely rare, iconic and culturally significant vehicle has undergone a mechanical restoration of which included the following.
* Professionally rebuilt and sealed transmission.
* New fuel pump
* Rebuilt Air Conditioning compressor. Blows very cold.
* Front coil springs. Front shocks.
* New Water pump and hoses
* Sway bar Link kit, V-belts
* Oil pressure sender
* New gas tank. Old one wasn't rusted just got damaged by carelessness when serviced.
* Heater core.
* Windshield washer pump
* NOS rear window switch
* 4 Steel belted Tires approximately 7-9 years ago but still in good shape with brand new spare.
* Exhaust gasket
* 2 front rotors, 2 rebuilt calipers, pads, hoses.
* Just replaced master cylinder
* Re-foamed front seats
* Recoiled radiator
* Muffler, Custom bend Exhaust pipe.
* Recently rebuilt Carb
* Engine had accessories removed and repainted correct blue
* All dash lights replaced
* Four ashtrays with lighters twoup front.
* Uses unleaded fuel
* Does not leak a drop of oil or fluid anywhere.
This is an amazing opportunity to be part of the collector car hobby. You will be doing a lot of talking at car shows;gets more attention than much more expensive, more commonly seen collector cars.The interior is exceptionally clean and is invery good original condition.
Car has mostly original paint except forone or two quarters, Original sheet metal. Vehicle does have chips and some small spider cracks on the paint though itappears good dueto the cleaning and waxing I did on the car.
The car has a yellow exterior with a saddle brown interior whichis classic for the era and provides an additional level of nostalgia. It is almost impossible to findthese large wagonslet alone in very good original condition with low miles.
There is a trend now emerging where a premium is placed on original cars.
