For sale is my 1962 Old's Starfire.This is a frame off restoration, though not personal. I have tried to keep it original.Frame was sand blasted and powder coated.All rust was fixed by wielding metal in.Had engine, trans, drive shaft and dif.rebuilt professionally.New alternator, fuel pump, carb, fuel and vac lines.New copper radiatorNew springs and ball joints and shocks.New rubber sealsNew master cylinder and buster, wheel cylinders and brake linesNew power window motorsNew power vents, had switches put in doors, then later I put the right switches in console. Left switches in doors for looks.New door panels, kick panels and carpet with original floor mats.New leather, vinal and head liner material goes with the car, worth about $3,000This is a late model 62 as it came with an alternator and seat belt option. Two changes in mid year.Only 3843 miles since restored.Car runs and drives as it should.Now for the badChrome is pittedSide aluminium not the bestSignals work most of the time, needs new switch.Body work ok but not greatPaint not bad from a distanceNew fuel pump don't produce enough vacuum to operate the heater properlyI have spent about $25,000 and hundreds of hours, the car could be a great driver with a little more TCL.Come and look at the car or fly in and drive it home.
