Description

Up for auction is this one owner 85 Olds Cutlass Salon Coupe, V6 auto. The car is fully equipped for the year including Full power options, full instrumentation, f-41 handling pkg, etc. The car was last used on a regular basis in 2005, when the original owner passed away, the family parked the car and it was untouched until I purchased it last year,. It was originally equipped with bucket seats and floor shifter. I swapped out the interior with my 1987 Buick Regal which only has 67, 000 miles otherwise the car is 100 % original including the paint. The only significant rust on the car is pictured, top of hood, top of trunk lid, and driver door (passenger door is very good) frame is clean, trunk and floor pans are excellent, quarter panels are very nice, the paint is presentable and would polish up nicely if you would like to make it a driver driver. Fortunatly when I bought the car the gas tank was bone dry empty, I added fuel and a battery and the car started right up and runs great (choke is a little lazy but it kicks down eventually and idles well. I only drove it around the block a couple times and the trans seemed to shift fine except once on a real cold day it wouldn't shift out of first gear so may need transmission work, yesterday shifted fine..Obviously if you wanted to use the car as is it will need all maintenance items i.e.: belts hoses oil change etc.Being that the floor shift is not with the car,the transmission is shifted by turning the steering column by hand... ( it is easy) As if it had a column shifter with no arm, these were connected by linkage at the factory so the floor shifter would be locked when the key was turned off.You can call me at 516-526-1448 for a faster response than email if you have any question or would like to see the car before bidding, Terms: a $250 non refundable deposit is required immediately following the end of the auction by PayPal unless previously agreed to by phone. 516-526-1448
