1970 Oldsmobile 442 Clone Convertible Muscle Car. An awesome classic muscle car ready for the open air and cruise nights!

1970 was the peak in horsepower for GM and the most popular year in the 70-22 body style. Special order Rallye red is THE color and is nearly identical to Chevy Hugger Orange Pontiac Carousel Red. Rebuilt 455 with rebuilt C heads with Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 750, mild cam, reproduction WZ exhaust manifolds leading to 2 ¼ exhaust to trumpet tips; reproduction outside air intake air cleaner and hood, rebuilt Turbo 350 with shift kit & 2600 stall convertor, 3.08 posi, lower control arms, newer shocks & brakes, newer fenders and quarters, wing, newer special order Rallye Red paint, reproduction 442 grill & badges inside & out, sport mirrors, reproduction bumpers including cut outs, added buckets, console with Hurst dual-gate shifter, sport wheel and tilt column, newer seat skins and top with glass window, CD player. Buick Skylark GS 15" Road Wheels on it now with new Cooper Cobras on front and older mismatched tires on rear.I have original 14" SS1's with good BF Goodrich TAs. This is a Cutlass Supreme cloned as a 442.
Condition: Solid driver quality ready for cruising. It gets lots of looks and thumbs up. Good running condition with plenty of torque. Most of the work was done 2003-5, includingfenders and quarters, paint, added wing, interior, top, engine swap from 350, etc. The interior is clean and tear-free. The paint is good withy a couple of touched up dings. Each rear quarter has a slight dent that could be solved with dentless repair. The windshield has an arch scratch from the wiper arm at some point. No body rust. Windshield header has a little rust. One known dime rust hole in a wheel well. Hinges need rebuild, as the doors don't align. Tilt wheel has a little play, which I'm told is a fairly easy fix with a grommet. Feel free to ask questions.
