Description

1967 Oldsmobile Toronado. 455, automatic loaded. Power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows, power seats, rear defrost, am fm power antenna. 22k original miles, purchased from original owner.
This is a really nice, runnin, drive anywhere solid car. Everything works as expected, right down to the trunk light. Even the factory radio and power antenna pull in stations clear and strong. Has new battery, and newer tires. 6 way power seats work well, and is very comfortable to drive. Tracks down the road well, and pulls strong. Original motor and trans, might even have original plugs and wires. Doesn't smoke, shifts well, and dual exhaust sounds great. The interior isn't ripped or torn or worn out and the original carpet is nice. All the lights seem to work, though I haven't heard a door buzzer... Not sure it it has one or it doesn't work. Other than windshield all the glass is good. Headlights, signals, and well, everything works. Doesn't run hot. Starts right up. Idles great.
Negatives: car has one repaint, approx 20 years ago, and has some cracking above the grill. There is some filler here or there, but it's not a bonds bucket at all. Really great, solid metal in all the places you never find it. Wheel wells, trunk, and rockers are super great. Paint is a little dull but would buff out. Small tiny rust bubbles on 1 part of trunk. Like... Very small. Like poison ivy small..and only about an inch in the corner. Chrome is decent...some pitting, not much... But not perfect. Very presentable. Door handles are probably the worst of it and they're not bad. I just don't want to represent it as 'show quality' or 'perfect'. There is some rust under the passenger floor, about the width of a dollar bill and about .25 wide. There is surface rust under the car, but not rusted through anywhere other than what I just mentioned. That doesn't mean it might not be thin in spots, but it's really solid overall, and I'm being super critical in my description. There is a nickle sized rust hole in the passenger door shell in the front underneath... And maybe some surface rust in the trunk in spots. Trunk and rest of the car are super solid, and it's all original metal. Has the original spare, jack, and even cardboard in the trunk. The rubber is original, and isn't leaking air or anything, but is showing its age and has some cracking here and there, and is a little hard in spots. Again, being super critical.. The windshield needs replaced. It's cracked, but is original. Also, looks like the ground wire is off the fuel sending unit, as it's stuck on full, currently... But... Sometimes it's not, making me think it might be a corroded ground wire.
I tried to be very thorough and critical in my descriptions. These are all the things I'd want to know. This is probably one of the lowest original mileage cars of this type I've seen. If you like toronados, I'm confident you'll appreciate this one. More pics to come, these are what I have available at this time. Clear title.
