Up for auction is an unusual 1969 Cutlass S 2dr post car. This stunning time capsule sat in an Oldsmobile dealer's warehouse for decades away from the ravages of the sun and the rigors of everyday life on the street. The body was treated to a high-quality, OEM-look repaint in the late '80s or early '90s and looks great today. There are no nicks, rock chips or dents on the body and the paint has great shine. The stainless trim and bumpers are beautiful and the glass is not chipped or scratched. The undercarriage is very clean. The blue interior is unusual, and the custom sport steering wheel is quite rare. Without exposure to the sun, the dash is free from warping, cracking and fading. Under the hood is incredible, and is like 1969 frozen in time. Driving the car is a real flashback. The engine fires right up, it runs smoothly down the road, the transmission shifts out perfectly, and the brakes stop true. The car is a real joy to drive.Equipment includes a Rocket 350 V8, Jetaway transmission, custom sport steering wheel, power brakes, power steering and more. I believe the SS! wheels, rear sway bar and AM/FM radio are post-title installations. The speakers in the rear deck are aftermarket.Why spend up to $75,000 and two years restoring a mediocre car when you can be enjoying this ultra low-mileage gem right away.
