Description

I have a 1961 Olds Super 88 up for sale. It has a great running 394 Olds in it. Probably the original, not sure how to prove it. Transmission has a leak, but shifts good. Power brakes work good. Power steering works good. Does not have air conditioning. This is a dry climate, high desertcar, so there is only one rust hole behind the driver tire. The interior is sun baked and in tough shape. Some cheap cloth covers have been used to cover the seats. Door panels are there, but in bad shape. Dash cover is gone. Needs new carpet. You get the idea, it needs interior help. The body is really straight. Original paint is flaking and someone spray painted some areas to cover the bare metal. Lots of spare parts (speedometer, engine parts, gauges, vent window, rims, interior parts, trim parts, power seat parts and more). See pictures and ask questions. The trunk pictures look horrible, but there isn't any through rust. There was a spilled brake fluid bottle in the trunk when I bought it. And the factory spray glue is brown, so it looks bad against the white. Needs electrical work, the headlights, taillights and turn signals don't work. The front power seat doesn't slide either. Good frame. Exhaust ispretty quiet. Tires hold air, but are not really road worthy. Really nice trim and chrome on this car. This could be a fun retro cruiser with a little work. Not quite road worthy, so plan on hauling the car home. All four windows roll down and the sides are open, so it's a four door hard top. This car has lots of great parts on it. Could be used as a parts car if you have a two door in need. Needs restoration or drive it the way it is with a little work. Opening bid of $2000 is the reserve price. Thanks for looking!
