1972 Oldsmobile Toronado Custom
Description
A loaded Toronado Custom stored away in a garage since 1985 last registration . Sold new in the Pittsburgh area and parked in 1985 so it hasn't seen much winter driving . Low mileage 47,269. Still a solid car with great floors. Almost mint interior with all electrics working. Starts right up now and runs good. No smoke. Exhaust system is gone and no brakes, needs replacing. This is from sitting for decades. Transmission goes right into gear and shifts well. Loaded with p. windows, locks, automatic seat back locks, tilt column, electric rear defroster, p. trunk release, a/c. 6 way power seat, cornering lights, tinted glass, old aftermarket am/fm cassette radio that still works great and a cb radio still connected and working. Interior lights work. No splits or rips in the interior . Mint dash. Nice steering wheel. Body panels are very good with a couple of rough places - front corner of hood and a spot on the lower driver rear wheel house on the outside lip. Solid rockers and floor. Bamboo is the color with Sandalwood interior. The roof was Sandalwood but was painted dk brown way before I got it. Still has old original bias ply tires . I have owned it for several years and haven't gotten to it yet. Now it is outside so I think I should pass it on . I have 3 other Toronados . This is an easy one. Will start up and drive on a transport and lots of room for loading at my place with easy interstate access in Lakeland,Fl. These early 2nd gen Toronados don't often come up for sale in this shape.
