1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 2DR Coupe

Nothing shouts the 70’s more than a car with a full tan interior which this one has in bucketloaders and even has a working eight track player!

This two-owner car is a true “survivor”. With attention-getting yellow paint and newer tan top, it has been mostly garage-kept for over 46 years. The body panels are all original and no accident history. The trunk is dry and has the original jack, spare, and trunk mat. All window seals are in fantastic shape and the windows are clear as the day they came from the factory. A small amount of pitting has been noted on the read chrome dual exhaust pipes. This car sits nicely on a match set of EPIC Steel Radial Multi-Mile P215/75R14 tires. The owner states that it has a fresh repaint less than 3 years old.

The interior is largely original with only the driver’s seat being recovered to repair previous damage. The passenger compartment is in fantastic shape with a tight headliner to the crack-free dash and a steering wheel absent of all those cracks these cars are notorious for. All interior lights work and the factory floor mats are still in place. Minor wear is noted on the center console. A 12V outlet has been added under the dash so you can still charge your accessories while you’re riding. The original stereo is still in the dash with an aftermarket 8-track player just below. The 2-piece seat belt system is in wonderful shape with the lap belts working without binding and the shoulder belts neatly tucked away at the headline. The large rear bench seat is very comfortable for riding (or parking) and the crank-down rear windows work flawlessly.

A powerful Oldsmobile 5.7L 350 “Rocket” V8 engine sits under the hood and it has an automatic 3-speed turbo “hydra-matic” transmission. This car also features power steering, power brakes, COLD A/C. The distributor has been upgraded to an electric version, but the original distributor and air cleaner come with the sale. Some oil seepage is noted under the engine from an unknown source.

First appearing in 1966, the Supreme was originally a premium trim package. This example is unfortunately not the more limited L75 455 with M20 four speed transmission, but it is completely numbers matching and in incredible condition. The only non-original item found is the electronic distributor, but the original with the air cleaner still comes with the sale.
