Description

No reserve auction for this rare collector car!!!

One owner car! Low low miles! Solid and excellent condition!

1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais Indy 500 Pace Car Indianapolis Collector RARE. We have owned this car in our family since new. Originally bought in California, now in Minnesota, it has never had a winter. Always stored inside. Miles are original.

Only 242 of these cars were built for the 1985 Indy 500. They were reportedly all on the infield on race day, including this one. This car is one of 106 that were equipped with the 3.0-liter V6/3-speed automatic.

All original, no modifications. Car is factory two-tone burgundy and silver exterior and interior, Indy 500 badging, graphics, and factory bodykit - including unique badging, a decklid spoiler, blackout trim, rocker panel moldings, and a model-specific Flame Red/Platinum Metallic paint scheme. Cosmetic condition is very good.Photos show the car dusty as it’s in our storage building currently.

Imperfections:small ding on hood (possibly paintless repairable - see photo), muffler has an exhaust leak (useable, but loader), one power window switch can be intermittent).

The car is very good for its age and has had very little use. These are getting very rare and would be a fun, reliable, inexpensive to own show car.

There is another listed on eBay for $15,000!! It’s listed as a 1985 olds cutlass. Ours is a great comparable to it and could possibly be had for cheaper in this no reserve auction!!

Thank you for all of your interest! This is a great car. Added a couple more photos. Sorry, we are not professional photographers. You will see some reflections in the paint, even though we hadn’t washed and waxed for the photos. Good luck with your bidding. Someone is going to get a great, rare, original, and collectible car! Thank you all!
