1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme True SX Numbers Matching Big Block 455 selling at "No Reserve"

This Oldsmobile up for auction is the perfect classic muscle car to finish up an easy restoration during the upcoming winter months. If you have been looking for a beautiful classic muscle car that you can instantly become a fan favorite at the local car shows in your area then this Super Rare SX may have your name on it!

If you simply double click on the main picture of the auction page then all the pictures will be able to be viewed in the larger size by clicking the arrows on each side of the larger pictures. This is the first time this Olds has ever been offered to the public on eBay.

These 1970's muscle cars have incredible investment potential, and have been referred to as rolling bank accounts. 1970 is typically the most highly sought after year in all muscle cars. It is becoming increasingly harder and harder to find a numbers matching Big Block 455 Original SX with each passing year. Especially one that is documented in the SX Registry!

This SX simply needs some finishing body work and a nice paint job. The Big Block Rocket 455 engine is the original numbers matching engine to this car. With a simple turn of the key this Rocket fires right up and runs great. This SX comes with a nice correct for 1970 one year only steel framed W-25 ram-air dual snorkeled hood. The original W and Z exhaust manifolds are connected to straight duals. This Rocket sounds awesome. There are power front disc brakes that stop this Rocket well. The floors, frame and trunk are in very nice condition.

The entire interior still shows in very nice condition as seen in the pictures. The original dash pad is in very nice shape, and I couldn't find any cracks anywhere. Fortunately this dash was never cut up like was typically done to these cars back in the day. The original AM radio still fits nicely in place.

The front bucket seats, console, and rear seats as well as all the side panels are in nice condition. Only the headliner could use a replacement. All the seat belts are present for a family of five, so the entire family can ride along to the local car show or enjoy a drive-in movie.

This Olds was factory ordered with power steering, power front disc brakes, factory AM radio, bucket sets, console, Super Stock II wheels, 442 sport steering wheel, tinted glass, and air conditioning. All of the air conditioning components are still in place including the a/c belt. I haven't added any Freon, but I believe it is still on the R12 system, so a recharge should have the air conditioning blowing ice cold. The heat does work well. The wipers work on both speeds. All the trim for the car is there and gose with the car.

This Olds rides on a nice set of four raised white lettered steel belted radial tires mounted on Super Stock II wheels with all four beauty trim rings, and all 20 chrome lug nuts. There is a 12-bolt rear-end believed to be original to the car. The original trunk floor is in very nice condition and was coated with spatter spray to make it appear factory correct, so the trunk should stay in nice condition for many years to come.

I saw no signs of this car ever being involved in an accident. The suspension looks to be in very good condition. This Oldsmobile SX really sits up awesome with the proud muscle car stance.

What you see is exactly what you get! These mostly complete older classics that have survived for over 40 years are becoming harder and harder to find.

The Nada Classic Car Price Guide currently has the 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SX model with air conditioning, and the Rocket 455 engine listed at $18,780 in high condition, which they consider an excellent overall vehicle that was completely restored, or an original vehicle showing very minimal wear. Note: This value does not represent a 100 point show car or a #1 vehicle. Those vehicles can reach much higher prices.

Nada has the average condition valued at $13,300, which they consider in good overall condition that could be an older restoration or a well maintained original vehicle that is completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. Nada says an average condition car is considered a 20-Footer!

I would consider this SX in much better than average condition, plus it has the original numbers matching Rocket 455 engine. According to the previous owner the mileage is correct at only 82,000 original miles.

The Nada numbers don't lie! This Classic Rocket SX Muscle Car is a very valuable automobile. I would believe it has the potential to be even more valuable with the ram-air hood and being a bucket seat console car.

This car is for the guy or girl that used to have one back in high school and would like to relive their youth or show everyone at their high school reunion how cool they still are. It may just be the perfect car for someone who simply wants to treat themselves to a classic muscle car and enjoy their money while it increases in value.

This Oldsmobile is an investment that I believe will continue to rise as these cars have consistently shown to escalate in value each quarter. Here is a prime opportunity to acquire your dream car at a reasonable price. The deposit will need to be paid within 24 hours, and the balance is due within 72 hours prior to pick-up or transport. The title will be sent out the same day the funds are clear, or be kept in the glove compartment for transport. Whichever way the winning bidder decides.

This hard to find classic muscle car is being offered at "No Reserve" on a 5-day listing, and will sell to the highest bidder at 10pm Eastern Time, 9pm Central Time, or 7pm Pacific Time on Sunday evening depending on your location.
