1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 4dr Sedan 68,420 Miles From New Same Owner Since 1987 Black on Burgundy Cloth/Vinyl 3.8L V6 / Automatic VIDEO WITH LISTING VIN: 2G3GR69AXG2340946 Built in Sainte-Therese, Quebec and sold new in St. Cloud, Minnesota, we purchased this beautiful ‘86 Cutlass from a gentleman in Minnesota who had owned the car for over thirty years. He bought the car in 1987 at 14k miles, adding another 54k over the course of his ownership. This car has been responsibly kept and adult-owned, and the survivor-level condition is awfully impressive. Since purchasing the car we have thoroughly detailed it, had a local mechanic give the car a once-over, and have begun to add mileage. As it sits, this is a well-preserved, hugely-original, ready-to-enjoy example. The Exterior: Please watch the video along with the listing, as cosmetic condition is covered in detail. Black paint appears to be original throughout. Paint looks very good, but isn’t entirely without signs of age. There is a spiderweb-like paint blemish on the driver’s front fender, a handful of chips on the trunk lid that look to be storage-related, a couple small dings in the hood, as well as a couple door dings scattered about. Glass and light lenses are clear and crack-free, and all lights and signals are functional. Wheels are free of curb rash or oxidation, tires are in good shape but we aren’t positive as to their age, so we’d recommend replacing sooner rather than later. Weatherstripping is nice and intact, not dry or crumbling. Doors open and close nice and smooth, no slamming. Panel fitment is spot-on. The Interior: Interior is truly excellent. Hard to pick up on much of any significant signs of age. Dark red corduroy cloth and vinyl is free of any punctures, scuffs, scrapes, sun fade, pilling/fraying, etc both in the front and back. Very, very nice. Original carpeting is still plush and vibrant, no discoloring or fading. The headliner is clean and tight, sun visors are firm and hold their position. Radio is functional and sounds great. Heat and fan are good, air conditioning is still on R12 refrigerant and while the compressor does kick on, the air does not blow cold. Gauges are all functional, odometer reading of 68,420 is accurate based on information from long-term owner and excellent original condition. Under the Hood/Underbody: Please take a look through the underbody photos. Underbody is excellent. Unbelievably clean considering the car is not undercoated and has been in Minnesota since new. A testament to how responsibly-kept this car has been. No active leaks or through corrosion. This car runs and drives extremely well. Truly no tendencies of concern whatsoever. The car is effortlessly smooth, the cabin is absolutely silent at speed, ride quality is outstanding, the car pulls through the revs with no hesitation, tracks straight, and brakes straight and effectively. Ready to use and enjoy straightaway. Vehicle will be sold with original manuals, spare & jack, and Minnesota title issued in 1987.
