1966 Oldsmobile 442

CALIFORNIA CAR !!!!

THIS IS THE REAL DEAL,

NOT A CLONE, NOT A FAKE.

'66 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass Holiday Coupe. This car was built in the Fremont California Oldsmobile Assembly Plant. In 1988 it moved to Missouri. In about 1989 someone started a restoration on it. It ended up parked in a shed after the engine was removed and sent to the machine shop. We found it last year. We intended to complete the resto but our plans have changed. We have moved it out of the shop and now it is for sale.

Here are the details;
1. The car was a factory 4-spee, trans is gone but HARD TO FIND pedals are still in the car.
2. Original 400 engine and radiator are gone.
3. All glass is GOOD.
4. Windows roll up and down.
5. Doors are solid.
6. Hood, Top and Trunk Lid are solid.
7. Most of the trim is here and OK.
8. Dash and Gauges are here.
9. Front Bucket Seats.
10. Rear Seat.
11. Tubular Headers and Exhaust are still in car.
12. 12 Bolt Rear End (probably posi) still in car.
13. Floors are solid and RUST-FREE.
14. Frame is SOLID and the Heavy Duty Sway Bars and components are intact.
15. Body needs front fender bottom patches and rear lower quarters.
16. Trunk floor needs to be replaced
17. Assorted small rust spots,dents and dings.
18. Most all of the little, hard to find things are still here.
19. CLEAN IOWA TITLE AND CURRENT REGISTRATION !!!!
The project seemed to halt after the engine was pulled and the car was left intact.
THIS IS A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH BUT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT IT IS AN EASY PROJECT WITH THE POTENTIAL TO BE A DYNAMITE $100,000 Barrett Jackson or Mecum Auction CAR. ( yeah, they don't start out with a shiny one!)

Obviously this is not a perfect car, so don’t expect it to be one. It is an old, untouched, unrestored original survivor that needs the things that old cars do. It will require a total restoration to be perfect.
