1980's cult classic:Opel Manta 20S Berlinetta CC

This Opel Manta was acquired from the son of the first owner. The car was mostly used as a 2nd vehicle, and has been garage kept. As a result, it has only covered 21.128 km and is in excellent original condition.

The car has always been serviced in the previous owner's garage. Unfortunately, no records were kept. It does however come with a Dutch instruction and service booklet. It has not been driven since the early 1990's, but was said to be taken out of the garage andwarmed up regularly. We have gone through the car in our workshop and have performed extensive service work: engine oil, oil filter, gearbox and diff oil check up, new brake hoses and calipers, complete new exhaust system, 4 new spark plugs (Original GM spark plugs will be included), distributor cap, rotor, spark plug cables, fuel filter and fuel hoses, fuel pump, 5 new Continental tires. The car will be delivered with a new APK (NL MOT/TüV,CT), ready to be enjoyed.

The body is in excellent, rust free condition. It was told it had a lightfront collission damage in the past, which was professionally repaired with an OEM front panel, new bumper and 1 headlight (1 Hella and 1 Lucas). Because of clearcoat blistering on the factory paint (as a result of GM's poor paint quality) it was decided to strip the body to bare metal in 1993, and repaint it in its original silver colour. Excellent finish and presentation, withvery fewimperfections. Small touched up scratch on the lower half of the right front wing andtwo touched up chips on the front. The engine bay is still in factory original paint, very clean but with various touch up areas. The plastic B-pillar 'ventilation' covers are from a Vauxhall. The originals are included, but a couple of clips were broken off.

The interior is in excellent original condition, almost spotless. Beautiful combination of red carpet and red cloth, slightly discoloured ontop of the seats and rear bench. A radio was never installed; the car still has its factory original cover plate. Small crack in the speedometer plexiglass. The rear hat shelf hinges are worn and should be replaced. Rear hatch gas springs have low pressure.
