1971 International Scout 800B Comanche
Description
This is a running and driving vehicle. 6 Cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission. I do not NEED to sell this vehicle so don't bother with scams or low ball offers, serious only please. This has been a garage kept vehicle since I purchased it 4-1/2 years ago out of Texas. Has some rust but overall very solid. Will need work and not perfect. Only 1500 of this model ever made. Good Title. Lots of responses so I'll add pictures and a list of what I think it needs, again please only contact me if you are serious.
Things that need repair to make it solid daily driver without total restoration:
Rust: Small amount of bubbling on the tailgate and a small area on both front fenders. (see pictures)
Also see the underneath pictures driver, passenger, and 1/4 of the bed was previously replaced but by an
amateur.
It needs some brake work and the lines replaced at some point.
Steering is loose and will need addressed.
Needs the body bushings replaced (I have new bushings but have not put them on).
Mild oil leaks like most old scouts.
I was told it needed a new water pump but it has never overheated (I have a brand new water pump just not put on).
The passenger side windows are out currently as I was restoring them and fixing the window regulator (easy to put them back in).
Rough idle and takes a bit to warm up (needs a tune up I'm sure).
Only the driver's side gas tank active.
The speedometer & temperature gauge do not work.. Actual mileageis unknown. It's not perfect and the price reflects that. You're welcome to come see it if you're serious.
