Description

78 Bronco restoration project truck in good running condition. Engine is running strong with no smoke, leaks or overheating problems. and my guess is it has been rebuilt prior to my ownership.Newer parts include carb, power steering pump and starter there is no AC compressor. The C6 Auto 3 speed trans shifts well. 4WD engages but I have not tested it.Differential is low geared and the truck is more suited for offroad and not highway driving. Paint is faded and in poor condition. Body is straight with no evidence of body filler.Frame is completely rust free. Doors have holes from previously installed mirrors.Current mirrors are not OEM. Windshield has a crack as pictured. Rear rt panel corner has rusted away and there are bubbles on rt rear wheel arch and in door jams otherwise there are no major rusty areas. Tailgate is in poor shape and is missing glass and also parts of the glass lift mechanism. Tires, wheels and shocks are in good condition.Parking brake does not work. Seats are missing the proper mounts / platforms -they are mounted on a non original frame. Instruments working are: speedometer, gas gauge, temp, fan, radio, lights, hazard and turn signals.Instruments not working are: amps, AC,wipers and odometer. I have the back seat and hardtop with rubber seal. Just to re-cap - this is a 40 year old PROJECT vehicle and is being offered in AS-IS condition for repair and restoration.CA titl, registration exp 11/2017. Sale is final with no return or adjustment. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thanks!
