1992 Volkswagen Corrado SLC VR6 Manual
Description
It is time to let my high school dream car go. I have driven this daily for the past two and a half years now. I live in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area, and the thought of the vehicle being destroyed, by hail or parking lot damage, is something I cannot live with. I enjoyed every moment with my car, but now it's time to move on. I purchased this from the original owner in May of 2016. The car has never seen snow, as it came from Arizona. The previous owner was a VW and Porsche Master Mechanic, who sold it to me at the age of 77. I do have the original window sticker, sales contact, and more Corrado articles and such as well.As with 98% of VW Corrado's here are the good and bad, though this one is pretty good.
Good:
- Active spoiler works
- Sunroof works
- New clutch
- New rear main-seal
- New Front suspension
- New motor and transmission mounts
- New tie rod ends and bushings
- Automatic seat belts work
- Heated seats work
- Absolutely NO rust what-so-ever
- New tires (less than 2000 miles)
- Fresh tune up (cap, rotor, plugs, wires)
- No tears in leather
- A/C has been converted to R134A by the previous owner
- New Battery
- Alignment done with tires
Bad:
- Needs a new fan control module (a/c and heat only work on the 3 setting)
- Wiper blades only work on high setting
- Speakers are cracked
- Crack in dash *SHOWN IN PICTURE*
- Driver window regulator showing sings of wear
- Small scuff on rear passenger bumper (I work at a dealership and I can have it fixed for $300 extra if you want it done) *SHOWN IN PICTURE*
Few scratches and door dings as any 26-year-old vehicle, but none really worth mentioning
Please message me if you have any other questions. I will help facilitate transportation.
Great car, lots of fun. Needs a nice garage, and loving owner. Please don't rag this classic out, but it's your money so...
