Description

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a super rare 1938 Rover 14. A real attention grabber, very original (went through a mild restoration about 20 years ago), but all hardware is original to the car. Clear Arizona title on hand (in my name).

Body
Very straight and solid. If you know a little about British cars, they are known to be rusty. NOT THIS ONE...the car is very clean (see pictures of the underside), frame is rust free and very straight. The blue and pearl two-toned paint job is one of the most desirable color combination of this model. It is an older paint job, has some scuffs and scratches but in my opinion it gives the car a beautiful patina look. Chrome is in good condition. Glass is also in great condition. Just had 4 new metric 4.75 / 5.00 tires installed. Car is equipped with tilting front windshield.
Interior
The interior is in very nice condition. I just had all the seats re-upholstered by a professional auto restoration place. The dashboard is in excellent condition. The wood trim around the windows and doors are in superb shape. I believe all gauges work with the exception of the clock.
All doors open and close correctly, and all the windows go up and down with ease. The door panels are also in very nice condition. The carpet is from an older restoration but it's nice and very clean.
Engine
Engine has been overhauled. New fuel pump, professionally rebuilt Solex carburetor with all new fuel lines. The radiator was shipped off and flushed. New coolant hoses. New intake manifold and exhaust gaskets. New distributor cap and plugs. Most of the engine hardware has been professionally powder coated. Brand is new battery with 3 year warranty. This is an ORIGINAL 12V car.
