For your consideration is a 1974 Jensen Healey convertible two owner car that is in need of some TLC and a new place to call home.

This Jensen runs and drives. The engine is strong and while it does need a new battery (it starts with a jump right now), the choke works as it should and once it's going it has a very healthy idle. Steering is nice and true with no pull in either direction. Brakes are firm and upon braking this Healey pulls up straight. The four speed gearbox is tight and shifts between gears easily. Electrically this car is almost completely sound; the headlights, brake lights, self cancelling indicators, and the windshield wipers work. The only thing not functioning at this time is the radio. It currently has an aftermarket Audio box radio installed.

The interior is in decent condition. The seats do not have any major rips or tears and are in good condition as well as the center console. The carpets need to be replaced and there are some small tears in the dash and on the side panels. The vinyl top looks ok (it does need a good wash) but there are no major rips or tears and it folds up and down as it should.

The body of the car is where the most attention is needed. There is some extensive rust damage on the floors which will need to be replaced. There is also some damage rust on the rear quarter panels that will need to be patched. The paint is not in great shape and this car would certainly benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The front left headlight cover is currently not on the car but we do have it, it's just not in good shape. The chrome on the bumpers still looks good but will need a good polishing. It is also missing the passenger and driver side mirrors.

This Jensen Healey will make a great project for someone who wants a mechanically sound car that needs someaestheticoverhauling along with new floors. The great thing about this Jensen is that you can put your own spin on it, change the color, change the interior, change the wheels, this car is ready to be made into whatever you wish it to be.
