Description

*NEW INFO* CHALMERS Motorcar EXTREMELY RARE Fantastic

Ready for restoration.

This is a Chalmers, 4 seat Touring / Roadster Motorcar that I picked-up in a trade. I know little about it, but it is relatively complete.

Many parts are present, some that are missing are: radiator, steering wheel, gauges, hood, and upholstery.

Parts present include the straight-6 engine motor that was far ahead of its time. Other parts present include original wood-spoked wheels, ribs and frame for canvas top, frames and springs for seats, and frame for windscreen. Other parts can be seen in the photos.

Manufactured in the U.S. by the Chalmers Motor Company.

This is a pick-up only item, however, seller can arrange for it to be delivered for a fee. Questions about the motorcar, or possible delivery, please email. It may take up to 12 hours to get a reply.

Auto-type filters and VIN do not apply with a vehicle of this age.

ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION JUST ADDED!

First, we have been going by “family memory” of the long-time owners of this car, who said this is a 1913 model. We have, however, found the brass tag with model & serial numbers on it.

Tag: Model No. 35-C, Car No. A122143

After sorting some of the parts, I've taken a few more photos. They have been added to this listing.

Feel free to contact me, by telephone, with questions. I'll do my best to get the information for you. 918-344-6442

Since first listing this motorcar, I have received several emails with assistance in estimating the manufacturing date a little closer. A few very kind people have researched several publications and the manufacture date has collectively been estimated between 1918 and 1921. I do not have this information myself, but am most grateful for the help. I suggest you do your own research, to satisfy yourself, if that is an issue. Also, there has been mentioned a Chalmers Classic Car Club, which is likely found on the internet, and resources for parts. I will include that information (such as what I have received) to the winner.

This is now being listed as a Buy It Now, OR Best Offer. All serious and reasonable offers will be considered. You may leave a phone number on my voicemail of the phone listed above.

Thanks, and good luck!
