1965 Volga (GAZ-21 R series 3) 4 door sedan, left hand drive, one owner, genuine 73000 km. Well maintained, garaged, original manufacturer's owner's instruction manual.This car belonged to my father, it was kept in a family and well looked after. Now, regrettably, it has to be sold as we are moving to another country.
All parts are from genuine series 3, no parts from other series.
Body:No rust, no welding (was not ever needed). All body parts are original. The exterior might require painting. The car was painted with nitro-enamel over original manufacturer's synthetic enamel. The nitro-enamel coat is pealing off in some places.
Engine:Engine is original, 2445 cc, 4 cylinders, runs perfectly.3-speed gearbox. Original, genuine 73000 km. Recently replaced: valves, oil filter (coarse filtration), relay-regulator, spark plugs, wiring, radiator.
Moving parts:The tyres are in a good condition.The main breaking and gear cylinder, break pads were replaced. Steel tubes in breaking system were replaced with copper ones.
Interior:Seat upholstery, hood lining, door trims, are original and in a very good condition. Back mat is new but looks like original. Some plastic parts ("ivory") were replaced. Also steering wheel and speedometer semi-sphere were replaced (light green colour). Heater, radio, cigarette lighter are original and in a good working condition.
Additional equipment:Driver's tool set, jack, foot pump, manufacturer's instruction manual, spare parts.
The car does not have a current warrant of fitness.
