Description

1928 Oakland 4 door Landau Sedan- 5 passenger vintage car.

This is a rare find - a vintage car, farm fresh, un-restored and untouched. To the best of my knowledge it is original interior and exterior and is a great condition to be restored. It does start and is drivable. I purchased the car from the original owner over 20 years ago.

I’ve stored the car in a garage, and the original owner had it in his barn when I purchased it. Odometer reads under 48/m miles. It has a straight American six cylinder engine.

Oakland was a division of General Motors Corporation, and was a moderately priced car but had fine luxury appointments.

It is missing is a couple of door latches and window cranks. The original Interior is in great condition for 88 years, still has the window shades in tacked. Landau roof is cracked and the right fender is damaged where the owner hammered it out after coming home from the tavern in the 30's and hit the barn. The body has no major rust and is solid and straight. The key for the lights / ignition is missing and has been bypassed to start the car. Radiator cap is cracked. Has the original tool kit and hand crank.
