I am selling this absolutely stunning, original survivor, 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500 convertible to help settle an estate. This car was purchased as a show car in 1980 and has been maintained as one ever since - always garage-kept and never driven in bad weather. The car has 49,770 actual documented, extremelypampered, miles. The car looks like it has been kept in an airtight vacuum since purchased new. The car has an excellent, original, straight-as-an-arrow, rust and ding-free body with its gorgeousoriginal paint code(CML) Vermillion Orange paint and untouched tri-color stripes.
The entire original houndstoothinterior is fantastic - from the seats and the dash, to the door panels and the carpet - with the original Triumph floor mats. The convertible top, boot, tonneaucover, car cover and all the glass still looks like new. The undercarriage is just as impressive as the rest of the car and it'srolling on a new set of Bridgestone Insignia radials. The car runs, drives, brakes, handles and sounds excellent. It is an absolute blast to drive. Everythingon the car works as it should.
It stillhas its original jack, tools, tool bag and spare tire in the trunk and the original working AM/FM 8-track CB radio in the dash.
